Due to the recent increase in the price of nickel and recent currency inflation; Sanyo the manufacturer of Eneloop have increased the price of their cells to the consumers. This does mean that we will be increasing our prices of Eneloop cells and packs as of the 1st November 2011.
Please find pricing information in the table below.
These prices will be in effect as of the 1st November 2011, so get your orders in quick to get the Eneloop cells at their current mark-up!
As an alternative to the Eneloop range, and coming to Overlander late October, is a new exciting range of Low Self-Discharge (LSD) NiMH batteries, to be added to our excellent Premium Sport range of cells and battery packs, with ten variations of pack sizes and variations.
Sanyo, branding this new technology with the familiar ‘Eneloop’ name, introduced LSD NiMH batteries into the market in 2006, with monumental success. LSD NiMH facilitates the technologies of both alkaline and NiMH batteries, resulting in a cell that gives the best of both worlds; superb low discharge rates, long shelf life, recharge-ability and enhanced performance.
Overlander’s new additions to the range of Premium Sport batteries uses this technology, with a wide variety of applications, to provide superior performance and life of your cells and battery packs for motors, transmitter and receivers.
The new Overlander technology will provide much higher performance, and have a much longer life than cheaper alternatives, but for a very affordable price. These cells and packs will be available in your local model shops and online from Overlander.co.uk

All the best – The Overlander Team
Using the Overlander Heli SR 550mAh 3.7v Lipo Battery with the Blade 120SR will provide higher performance and longer flying times between charges, due to the larger size and superior quality of Overlander’s Batteries.
We have had some feedback that the batteries are a bit tight to fit into the Blade’s battery carrier.
Follow this guide, and you’ll be flying in no time!
For ease of explanation, we have removed the helicopter canopy.
With the heli held UPSIDE DOWN, and the battery facing LABEL DOWN, slide the battery into the battery carrier. (See example below)
If removing the Overlander label makes fitting easier, you will not affect the warranty on this product by doing so.
Be aware that the Overlander battery will be a very tight fit and will need some gentle force to slight the battery into the mounting.
Using the Overlander battery is definitely worth the investment, and definitely wont fall out!!
All the best!
Dave – Overlander Batteries
Please be aware that removing the label (if you need to) will not effect the warranty on this product.
All Overlander Sport 25C and 60C LiPo cells are manufactured using the “STACKING” method, unlike many of the cheaper Chinese imports which are manufactured using the “WINDING” construction, a much cheaper construction method, with very limited discharge rates (15C – 18C) but often quoted as 20 – 25C. Stacking construction is known for its longevity, and gives stronger more reliable voltage.
How can I tell the difference?
